Welcome to Scientia et Humanitas -- a peer reviewed journal dedicated to showcasing MTSU's very best graduate and undergraduate academic research.

ISSN 2470-8127 (print)

ISSN 2470-8178 (online)

Sponsored by the University Honors College, our journal has both print and electronic (open access) versions. Our mission includes demonstrating the breadth and quality of our student research. No less importantly, though, we also aim to inculate young scholars into the professional world of peer review and publication. In the process, we promote interdepartmental faculty and student collaboration as well as public relations both on and off campus.

Scientia et Humanitas invites submissions from all current MTSU students and recent graduates. Please see our Call for Papers for details. We follow a double-blind peer review process. Submissions should include an abstract, and you may use the citation method deemed appropriate by your field.

Staff Applications are also accepted year-round. Download the PDF, fill in or edit it electronically, and send it (along with 2 letters of recommendation) to scientia@mtsu.edu.

Thank you, and we look forward to reading your work!
