About the Journal

The Journal of Applied Health and Behavioral Sciences in Society (JAHBSS) brings theoretical, empirical, and applied research regarding health and behavioral sciences to practitioners, scholars, and the community. The goals of the journal are to: provide theoretical foundations related to key areas regarding psychology, social work, criminal justice, and health sciences, to provide a framework for practitioner and organizational influence that affects these disciplines, and further the understanding of how the applications of research in health and behavioral sciences impact society. This journal is interdisciplinary, online journal that seeks to publish peer-reviewed research articles, book reviews, and student research/essays.
