How Accounting Firms Can Help the Small Business Owner

Abstract

This paper discusses the types of services that are offered by public  accounting firms to the small business client. Some items to consider when choosing an accounting firm, or deciding which type of service would be most appropriate, are also exa1nined. The changing market for the services of public accounting firms is addressed, along with how accounting firms  are actively pursuing  small businesses as clients.
